Mimar Sinan; who constructed his buildings by combining his architecture skills, engineering, and craftsmanship during the Ottoman Empire's socially, economically and politically matured period; known as one of the famous representatives in the architectural field of Ottoman culture. There are many national and international research dealing with this period of Ottoman architecture and Mimar Sinan. However, there is a limited number of analytical resources about Mimar Sinan's buildings. In this study double-arcaded portico, which is identified with Sinan and has not been studied in detail before, is analyzed within a modular system. Also the effect of this modular system on formation of double-arcaded portico in Sinan Mosques, which was built in different periods was investigated, and the possibility of the usage of this system on the non double-arcaded mosques of Sinan were studied. The data obtained from these studies are presented in a comparative format in the analysis part of the relevant sections.
