Biyofilik Tasarımın Konutlarda; Kullanıcı Psikolojisine ve Yaşam Kalitesine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, biyofilik tasarım unsurlarını konut ölçeğinde mekânlara entegre etme yöntemlerini araştırmaktır. Araştırma kapsamında, biyofilik tasarımın bireylerin yaşam koşullarını nasıl değiştirme potansiyeline sahip olduğu incelenecektir. Bu bağlamda, kullanıcı deneyimleri ve mekânsal algı üzerinden biyofilik tasarımın bireysel refah üzerindeki etkileri değerlendirilecektir. Çalışmanın hipotezi, biyofilik tasarım unsurlarının konut iç mekânlarına entegrasyonu ile kullanıcıların psikolojik, fiziksel ve sosyal refahlarının artarak yaşam kalitesinin olumlu yönde gelişeceği varsayımına dayanmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulguların, biyofilik tasarım prensiplerinin kullanıcılar üzerinde olumlu etkiler yarattığını göstermesi beklenmektedir. Özellikle doğayla etkileşimin artırılması, stres seviyelerinin düşürülmesi, yaratıcılık ve odaklanma gibi bilişsel süreçlerin desteklenmesi gibi konularda pozitif etkilerin gözlemlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to investigate methods for integrating biophilic design elements into residential spaces at the housing scale. The research explores the potential of biophilic design to transform individuals' living conditions. In this context, the study evaluates the effects of biophilic design on personal well-being through user experiences and spatial perception. The hypothesis of the study is based on the assumption that the integration of biophilic design elements into residential interiors enhances users' psychological, physical, and social wellbeing, thereby positively contributing to their quality of life. The findings of the research are expected to demonstrate that biophilic design principles have beneficial impacts on users. In particular, positive effects are anticipated in areas such as increased interaction with nature, reduced stress levels, and the enhancement of cognitive processes like creativity and focus.
