Abstract
Mimar Sinan Fine Arts
University founded in
1882 is the oldest fine
arts institution in Turkey.
Our university, a wellestablished
institution
takim~; initials as a mission, was initiated
to conduct education with ocddental
and contemporary methods, in the late
Ottoman period of 19th century.
Today, MSFAU gives priority to
internationalization. The University
has an active internationa_l network for
students; administrative and academic
staff exchanges, research, projects,
conferences, lectures, and workshops.
MSFAU is a holder of the Erasmus
Charter, and an active partidpant of the
Erasmus+ Program. The University is a
member of Mevla11a Exchange Program,
too. Students and-academic staff are
exchanged within the scope of those
programs.
in addition, MSFAU is a member of
Educational Programs of the European
Commission as well as important
academic networks such as European
University Assodation (EUA) European
Conservatories Assodation {AEC),
European Assodation for Architectural Education (EAAE), lnternational
Association of Universities And Colleges
of Arts, Design and Media (CUMULUS).
Asian League of lnstitutions of the Arts
(ALIA) is one of the great significant
academic networks. MSFAU is proud of
being its member since 2012.
The SCORE is the title of the project
of ALIA that reimagines ALIA's network
asa score. We have been excited since
the project idea reached us with "the
box" and we are proud to be a part of
this project with the other members of
ALIA. Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University
forms a project team together with
academic staffs and students from the
fine arts and architecture departments.
The Project Team has been working on
the SCORE project since December 2019.
We are very glad to ·present Mimar
Sinan Fine Arts University's SCORE
Project "THE VISITOR".
