dc.description.abstract | Color temperature is a terminology for optics and color science referring to the color temperature of the optical source or in other words the Kelvin degree when the thermal blackbody radiators match their colors of the light sources. With the conception of color temperature as the exhibition theme, the denotative meaning of 'color temperature' is to be understood as something caring the inward world of human life and perceiving the outer world of human life. This artistic way of observing the external world and realizing the emotion features of internal world is embodied in the extension of the conception of color temperature. When this temperature or Kelvin degree is relatively high, the Chinese version of it derives other meanings of being softhearted, warm, mild, warmhearted, sympathetic and caring, helping. Therefore the exhibition theme of Colerlemedia on the Sittic expression in vivid details and how it gets involved with great passion in the reality. "The China Young Artist Project" (CYAP) is a brand forged and developed in the past few years by the China International Culture Association and Beautiful Asset (Beijing) Art Industry Co., Ltd. that serves as an important promotional platform for young, emerging artists. This exhibition has been jointly sponsored and organized by the two aforementioned organizations. Dong Yi, CEO of Beautiful Asset, states that the duty of CYAP is to push forward the development of contemporary Chinese art. CYAP actively shoulders the important responsibility of fostering and promoting new artists. Through exhibition collections, publishing, media releases, and academic conferences, CYAP gives full support to its young artists, helping their artworks to reach a wider audience and exposing them to greater channels for promotion. CYAP works to help its young artists achieve both long-term and stable development in the Chinese and international art world. This artist exchange exhibition at the Istanbul Biennial is a manifestation of CYAP's mission. All of the artists participating in this exhibition are young artists. Their works are full of life, products of their liberal outlooks and personalized forms of expression, reflective of history and concerned with culture, they confront head-on the predicaments of human survival and the spiritual struggles of the individual. These artists' journeys have just begun, and in many ways, they are far from mature, however, in capturing the realities of the present and the emergence of the personalization of art, cach demonstrates his or her own independent creative spirit. | en_US |
