Abstract

This year, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its establishment. Even though this is a very short period of time for an art school, our conservatory has brought up many students which have achieved so many national and international achievements, and will continue to do so. Our conservatory has also increased its international institutional accomplishments through the Erasmus Exchange Programs. The Conservatory pursues the education under the structure of three departments: Department of Music, Department of Performing Arts and Department of Musicology. Throughout the academic year, faculty members and students offer performances at distinguished concert venues of Istanbul, and hold seminars and conferences on important subjects.
