Özet
Bu bilgi kataloğu Avrupa Birliği Eğitim Programları fonlarının kısmi desteği ile hazırlanmıştır.
As the scientific foundation of a university with a centuries-old artistic tradition, our faculty is composed of the Departments of Archaeology, Art History, History, Sociology, Statistics, Philosophy, Physics, and Turkish Language and Literature.
With all its departments, it is dedicated to a scientific understanding of modern and progressive education, respectful of democratic rights and responsive to global developments.
Devoted also to the ideal of educating secular students who are faithful to Atatürk’s principles and reforms, and who read, think, analyze, and question, our faculty has the mission to contribute not only to scientific knowledge but also to cultural and social development.
After being recognized as a member of the Erasmus University Charter in April 2004, our faculty—with its continuously developing dynamic structure—has actively participated in exchange programs. Students and academicians from the Departments of History, Sociology, Statistics, and Turkish Language and Literature have been visiting other universities across Europe. Increasing participation in these programs remains one of our primary goals.
Details about curricula and academic staff can be found in this information catalog, along with information about the Erasmus program and double agreements. I thank all participants who contributed to the preparation of this catalog, which I hope will be useful for everyone./
