Developed in Germany since 1991, The passive house spread out successfully in other countries with similar and different climates in the following years. Because of providing energyefficient, low cost, ecologic design and comfortable life conditions; this concept has attracted attention engineers and architectures. The Passive Houses has been mostly approached in terms of technical issues, but with this paper, the concept will be emphasised on interior architecture: what does this houses provide to design process and interior comfort (air conditioning, heating-cooling, lighting) ? Morever, the paper will be told; what is the passive house, how does it work, how is energy efficiency of passive house provided, what are the interior comfort points? Thanks to the contributions of the passive houses, interior space design will be able to provide much more flexible and comfortable solutions to users. The main conclusion in this paper, is that supplement of the energy efficiency to interior comfort, will be analyzed on examples in Turkey: Gerd Ketelhake House -the first Passive house of Turkey and Steelife Ecologic House.
